New features are missing
I just upgraded my iPod Touch to iOS4. I noticed that it looked different, but I couldn’t do anything that was advertised. Double tapping home button didn’t do multitasking; it just closes the app. I saw new wallpapers installed, but it didn’t let me put the wallpaper behind the app buttons. Are these features only for iPhone and not iPod Touch?
Photos blurry
I put some photos on and when viewed, they’re all slightly blurry. I double tap to zoom in and it will sharpen itself after a second. I zoom out again and the photo is back to iOS2 sharpness. Do I have to do this for EVERY FREAKING PHOTO? Btw, this is not the same problem reported all over the web about existing photos being blurred. I put new photos on my iPod.
Feels slower
Scrolling doesn’t feel as buttery smooth as iOS2 (I never had iOS3 cause that costs $16. iOS4 is free for some reason). The movements jerk a little.
