This is the second time this has happened… I open a fresh packet of contacts for the month and put them in, and I can feel something underneath it, irritating my eye - usually dust. I take it out, rinse it heaps and put it back in, and it usually solves it… But today, I just couldn’t seem to get my right eye to feel comfortable. I spent about 15 mins rinsing and rinsing and rinsing and rubbing the contact, but it didn’t seem to help. In the end, I decided it’s really not that annoying and just wore it for the day. Right now I’m at work and I’ve been forced to remove them because the irritation was just too much, especially after staring at a screen all day (dry eyes).
My contacts feel perfectly fine when they’re ‘clean’, but I can’t stand it when there’s something underneath them that I can’t seem to remove. Eye drops don’t really help, since there’s actually something under the contact irritating my eye… ARGH, but it’s just so annoying when I can’t get rid of it… GAH!!! Anyone got an answer to this problem?
