I am a novice at actionscript and am trying to keep everything as simple as possible. I would like to create this style menu (http://www.fameid.com/menu/index.php) using movieclips for the images and without using xml or php files. I would not need to create the buttons dynamically with actionscript.
For days I’ve searched for this seemingly simpler approach to no avail. I’ve been trying to modify many similar non-image versions of this, Yugo’s menu for one, but I have to give up as I don’t see how they could work.
The above mentioned URL and this site: http://www.newzealand.com/travel/souvenirs/video-library/super-tvc/super-tvc_home.cfm (click on interactive mode) are what inspired me to make an image driven menu system.
Any guidence on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
