I’ve trying to create a smooth image reveal style menu (like http://www.fameid.com/menu/index.php) using movieclips for the images and without using xml or php files. I do not want to create the buttons dynamically with actionscript as you do in the yugop style menu, but still need to utilize the easing and object movement math created with actionscript.
For days I’ve searched for this seemingly simpler approach to no avail. I’ve been trying to modify many similar non-image versions of this but I have to give up as I don’t see how they could work.

Any guidence on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
