OK, I recently just got my big lump sum for the invoices I sent off for all the sites I’ve made/looked after. And basically, I sort of emm…“embelished” one or two of the quotes.
So this sounds bad, right? But basically, if you knew what I’ve gone through, I feel it isn’t that bad at all because…
- The company constantly treat me like cr.ap
- They’ve conned me out of money many times
- They’ve agreed on prices then brought them down when the work’s done
- A whole load of other stuff I won’t go into
And basically, they can more than afford it. I’m basically their webmastering b1tch.
So, let’s play a little game. Answer the following questions:
- Is what I’ve done wrong?
- Check out this couple of hours worth of rubbish work (the band and management love it so what the hey) and tell me:
a: How much you think I’ve gotten paid for it
b: How much you think it’s actually worth - Would you/have you ever done the same sort of thing yourself?
After all this, personally I gotta tell you that I have no remorse. These peole have used and abused me for so long now and I HAVE set out certain prices like a certain amount for each streaming video etc so my invoice did break things down.
Anyways, I’ll post up the answer as to how much I got after a few posts.
