Sulake, Inc. is in search of an experienced Graphic Designer to join our team as an associate for our popular Habbo Hotel brand. The qualified candidate will be a part of the Creative Production team and will initially have the responsibility to create both online and offline collateral materials for the Marketing and Production departments.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Design and build animated online advertisements – Rich Media (Flash), Gif animations and HTML based on concepts presented, specifically with pixel-based animation.
· Design print products for Marketing & Sales including: newspaper ads, brochures and collateral when needed by our creative director.
· Design skills in optimization and animation for the web. Must be proficient in Photoshop, ImageReady, Illustrator, HTML editing software (i.e. Dreamweaver), and advanced experience with Flash
and specifically ACTION SCRIPTING - We would like a candidate who knows ACTION SCRIPTING, not a person who ‘cuts and pastes’. If you cut and paste, you will NOT be considered.
· We are in search of a team player with great interpersonal skills and who is self-motivated.
· You will possess excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
· Must pay high attention to detail.
· Knowledge of HTML and Internet Advertising.
· Must be able to interact with all peer and management levels.
REQUIREMENTS:
· High energy, resourcefulness, willingness to maintain rapid pace for extended periods; works effectively and thinks clearly under pressure; good organizational and communication skills; sound judgment and professionalism.
· Excellent skills in the following programs: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Flash. Prefer candidate to have experience writing Action Script with an understanding of the larger possibilities of Action Script. Photoshop skills are a must, with an emphasis on pixel art (think SNES-type artwork).
· A degree in Graphic Design or equivalent work experience.
· Minimum 2-3 years experience or equivalent and proven ability in Graphic Design work in both online and print.
