i have created buttons to operate my text field (instead of using a ‘stock’ scrollbar) but i seem to having a little trouble with them. they scroll the text field up and down just fine, its just after you scroll down and give it a couple of seconds it jumps back to the beginning. has anyone else dealt with this same issue? if so respond. until then i will be crawling through the flash help files trying to find a solution. cheers…
i actually had a movie clip looping throughout the page, and found that by stopping the movie at the end the text field would not reset itself. this is fine with me, but if anyone knows how to keep the movie clip going while having a seperate text field i would love to read how to do it. thanks for the quick response.
