ok people forgive me if i post this in the wrong spot or shouldn’t be asking so many **** questions.

I am “attempting” to build a resturaunt site with flash…I am a flash NOOB. there is a few things i need to learn. if someone could just point me in the right direction of a good tut or just straight out help me that would be cool. Feel free to beat me with a fish if am being a pain.

a- i want to create a interface that allows someone to order gift certificates online. a very simple one at that…if it makes it easier not to have to pay online i will live with that but a tut or info on how to set up a sort of payment online would be cool…heh. basic info is to get their name, amount, when they want to pick it up er whatever…

b- along the same lines…some way to gather info for a newsletter…so a script or something so they could send name, email. just by entering text in boxs.

c- a way to get 1,000,000 dallors.

i probably posted this in the wrong place but don’t know where esle to post it…and the reason i ask it here is becasue this place rocks and i am trying to do this mostly in flash.

A. Online security is very hard to find today especially with flash, but this can be done either databasing with SQL or some paypal sort of script

B. Thats done, not hard to make.

C. $$'s is spelled Dollars

You posted it in proper place but you are asking very very advanced stuff you should look for it in actionscript.org
there you will find answers for your a and b question and about the c if somebody will tell you how to do it please share it with me too ok ? :slight_smile:
