Keeping individual movie lengths

Well since no one could answer my 1st post, I thought I’d give it all another try…

Here’s the new scoop: I have a timeline that plays a soundtrack (level 0). Into and out of that I load movies - 10 in all- to level 1, pretty simple right?

My hope was that by creating 10 stand alone movies they could keep their own lengths, i.e., one movie may be 8 inches in length, another 20, needing a scroll bar.

But I find that since I’m loading them into the soundtrack movie (and I’m doing this so that the soundtrack won’t be interrupted as the movies change places) the movies are being forced to conform to the soundtrack movie dimensions of length and width.

In a perfect world, what I wanted was a soundtrack to play, unhindered from the movies. And the movies would play one after the other keeping their individual characteristics - length.

Any suggestion on if this is possible in flash mx?

Thanks
