Killswitch Engage - Live In Dublin

I saw Killswitch Engage playing live for the first time in the Ambassador Theatre in Dublin tonight and I can honestly say that it was the best gig I’ve ever been to. They are incredible live and the crowd in Dublin was unbelievable.

KSE also had one of the best support line-ups I’ve ever witnessed. First up were the UK based Bring Me The Horizon who opened up in spectacular style and really got the capacity crowd going.

BMTH were followed by the very impressive (so impressive in fact that I bought their album on the way out) The Haunted. Their signature song, 99, was a definite crowd pleaser and it had most of the crowd jumping around like eejits.

Then Killswitch took to the stage, with Adam D in the customary cape and hot pants, and played a truly brilliant set, which included Daylight Dies, My Last Serenade, Fixation On The Darkness, Rose Of Sharyn and a great cover of Judas Priest’s Breaking The Law. The moshing was wild and almost non-stop; the only pauses were when the entire crowd stopped still to sing every word of the choruses.

I’m so stoked I got to see them. The bands and crowd were both amazing. KSE were even better than I’d hoped. If you like metal, you must go and see this band play, they are awesome. :ko:
