Kirupa's dark side

hey, krup, how come you never seem angry at all, even in the worst situations Bruce Banner couldn’t handle? in almost every post, you have a smiley in there somewhere. are you never pissed off? even if it doesn’t have to do with the forums? you never seem to have a bad day. are you simply hiding all your anger behind the computer screen? or are you just the nicest person in the world?

praytell, i’ve known you for a couple years now and i don’t remember you ever getting pissed off about anything.

please don’t let this post be the first, i’m just curious :)

Yeah, I always wondered that myself, but never had the guts to ask.

Hehe, I try not to let some of the posters here get to me. A few members such as Coppergoat have gotten me slightly angry, but I find that simply laughing it off annoys the other guy SO much more than it does you :slight_smile: Besides, why ruin your day over someone who you know via a computer monitor hehe.

For the most part, when it deals with other people, I have been known to be a nice guy. The only times I get angry are when my favorite sports team(s) lose or when my favorite tv programming gets cancelled for some ridiculous reason. In real life (or what’s left of it haha), I have been known to get angry. I was very upset after seeing both the LA Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks lose to the San Antonio Spurs. I was EXTREMELY upset the other day when a cursed tornado a hundred miles away from where I live forced all the local TV stations to cover the weather instead of showing the two re-runs Everybody Loves Raymond and Seinfeld that I watch everyday before The Daily Show with Jon Stewart appears.

I find sarcasm to be a much better method of dealing with people who I don’t particularly like. For the most part, my computer teachers get a brunt of the sarcasm. For example, everything about my final C++ project for AP Computer Science reeks of…for lack of a better word…premeditated-n00bishness: http://www.kirupaforum.com/eyp.htm (the stuff in blue and the strange variable names) But the project accomplishes everything required of me, so I ended up getting an A for it.

The teacher hugged me after grading it - it’s not everyday a Kirupa gets hugged by a non-family female species member creature person =)

Also lost, if there is anything you are anyone wants to ask me, feel free. I don’t bite any more (I was acquitted the last time), and I don’t think I have ever gotten offended over any question someone has asked me :ub:

Cheers!

LOL =)

My english teacher hugged me after I graduated, but that’s nothing to brag about because she was old. She was my best teacher though so I didn’t mind.

And in the future I will be sure to ask you anything I may need to ask you :slight_smile:
