One of my customers has been having a lot of problems with his Laptop.
His laptop is an Amilo D 8830 from Fujitsu-Siemens!
When it finally got to the point of “I give up! I do not want you to repair my laptop!”. He just decided that the store he was getting the repairs since he got his laptop was shafting him, so he asked me to get him a laptop battery.
Unfortunatly I haven’t a clue as to what to buy… So! I’m here asking to drink off of some of your knowledge on this one!
The battery is Lithium Ion, and it’s a year and a half old, so according to my calculations, it should’ve been ok.
Unfortunatly that isn’t the case! The battery just does not last. No matter how long it’s charged it holds no charge. The battery indicator in windows said for the longest time the laptop was fully charged, but as soon as it got of AC/DC it started beeping and shut itself off!
I haven’t a clue as to what the differences are in terms of Lithium Ion batteries, and more specificly the ones that this laptop can use!
