I’ve produced a 25min corporate video for the firm i work with which is to be shown looping on the reception plasma screen. The video has been produced in After Effects and at present is rendered out to a .avi extension with an mpeg4_v2 compressor.
Over the top of the video, my boss wants to be able to have the latest news scrolling along the bottom of the screen, much like BBC News or any other equivilent.
So i thought simple, import the video into flash, create an animated text box that links dynamically to an external text file and the receptionists can update the news daily with ease.
My problem is, that when i have tested this using shorter snipits of the video it has worked fine, but when i try and import the whole video (45,000frames) i just get a white screen where the video should be???
Is it possible to achieve what i’m trying to do?? does anyone have any suggestions??
