Just did some simple tests trigging a “click” sound on MOUSE_DOWN. It fires “instantly” when played.
Now try to add a second sound, for instance just a looped bit of silence or other.
If now clicking that same button, the click-sound playback is delayed for ~100msec…
(this on a pc / xp / std soundcard),
gonna do some tests on mac too
This wasn’t a problem in flashplayer 7 / 8.
This is kind of bad since simple stuff like playing interface feedback sounds on top of background music, sound effects over another in a game etc. looks/sounds like sh*t now since it gets delayed…
Have been looking around a bit but haven’t found anyone else on the net complaining about this…!?
