LocaModa is looking for a great Flash programmer to join our development group. The Lead Flash Developer is responsible for all things flash-related. This includes development of new applications as well as the update, maintenance and skinning of existing applications. Development is primarily in ActionScript 3, but some older projects may require occasional maintenance are still running ActionScript 2.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop ActionScript application architectures from start to finish
- Interface with back-end engineers through web-services
- Work with external data sources (xml documents, ActiveMQ and XML sockets)
- Work with on screen graphics, both as interactive game and GUI elements
- Design and develop reusable components for communication and user interfaces
- Work with designers (both in-house and client) to skin on-screen applications to spec
Requirements
- Actionscript 3 ninja skills
- Proven experience on large-scale Flash development projects
- Portfolio or code samples
- Experience with other object-oriented languages such as Java or JavaScript a plus
- Fit into a fast-paced start-up environment
- At least 2-3 years experience in an agency or in-house development environment
