Awesome, thanks guys.

Also, what do you all personally prefer between php and asp?

php

I prefer PHP. However, I am currently learning ASP also. I still would rather work with PHP. I find it easier to code in and much more powerful.

Also, if you are looking to spend a little money, check out these books:

PHP: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0764535617/qid=1053751242/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_1/002-2551283-1162431?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

mySQL: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0764516922/qid=1053751276/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/002-2551283-1162431?v=glance&s=books

And if you need any specific PHP help, let me know. As electronGeek said, “I have a PHP fetish…”

I like php, it gives me a headache. I haven’t tried ASP yet, but I’m sure that will give me a headache too. =)

asp, ease of use, support

i would like PHP, from the very little that i do, but i never tried ASP, both are hard though! but i think PHP cause its not offa the MS .net thing

I bought the blueprint book for PHP and I havent really taken a whole lot of time to go through it yet but after the first chapter I very impressed. It takes you right from the very begining and teaches you everything… books are good
