I need to find a font allowed for commercial use in my flash game, but I’m having some trouble to understand the agreement. On http://www.dafont.com/foo.font it says “Free”, but when I read the license agreement in the .rar file I get another impression.
“The fonts contained in the archive (zip) are part of the Larabie Fonts Collection from [URL=“http://www.typodermic.com/index.html”]Typodermic Fonts. The fonts are free for commercial use. The [URL=“http://www.typodermic.com/license.html”]license agreement for free fonts in the [URL=“http://www.typodermic.com/larabie-fonts.html”]Larabie Fonts Collection is the same for all Typodermic Fonts. Please don’t contact me and ask me if you can use them for commercial use. Read the [URL=“http://www.typodermic.com/license.html”]current license agreement for details.” From license agreement (html webpage)
“You may not under any circumstances embed the licensed fonts into software or hardware products in which the fonts will be used by the purchasers of such products. Such use requires a different license which may be offered byTypodermic through Ascender Corporation. Visithttp://www.typodermic.com/custom.html for more information.” - From license agreement (pdf)
