I was just surfing around, looking at one bad website after another, a lot of them, actually contained good content, but they were just designed poorly.
So I thought, that it might be nice with a discussion on how to make a website better.
Personally I think the reason to bad websites, are the fact that the people who decided how the website should work, look and feel, was the people developing it. Shouldn’t it be the marketers and customers who decide this?
A lot of people - including myself in the early days - thought that a website would be easy and obvious for the customers to use, if I built the website in a way that was obvious to me. But the visitors and customers are not me, in fact they aren’t very much like me at all, and the defiantly don’t think the same way as I do.
