Hey folks. I’ve been scouring the web for a legitimate, light-weight color picker that I can open up whenever I want to grab a hex value of a color I see on the screen. I’ve googled it and a lot came up, but I’m a little apprehensive to download and test what I found.
Anyone know of a good, light-weight color picker for Win XP?

I didn’t like Kuler. Seems like every palette on there was ugly (this coming from the colorblind guy).
I read an article on creating your own color palette on Tutzor (I think) but it’s gone now. I remember it was very simple and involved messing with some type of color adjustment in PS. After fooling with it, I think I remember how it goes:
Make a bunch of dots (squares, whatever) of different colors you kinda like.
Make new layer above the colors.
Fill it with whatever theme color you want and set its blend mode to “Color”
