I know the limit is 15K for footers, however, many people have static images that are much over 15k.
Spets just posted in the D&D forum with three images each of them over 30k…
I was wondering if we should keep the 15k limit, or up it to 30k…

say everybody had 30k footers (regardless of type). 15 posts/page. 15 different posters. 15*30 = 450. that’s 450 kilobytes of data to download per page, in the worst case scenario, given everybody follows the guidelines. that’s almost half a meg, which is quite a hefty download for our 56Kers…
just an analysis, not an opinion. i don’t care either case.
just to post images, I think no limit…
however, I like the 15k limit on footers. I think it makes the member try harder to make it cool and small…

ok, yeah I didn’t care one way or the other, its just some people have some pretty complex images and they are quite large… better warn spets… i gotta go to work. talk to you all later.
