Lingo code you say, well all it is really is a time waster, As VB6 came ouy programming become faster and easyer as lingo code uses most of the time because it uses more programming for a simple object!
^He wasnt asking about what was best. He was asking if someone who was good at lingo hung out here…
I don’t know that I’m good at it, but I have done some programming in Lingo. If you post your question more specifically I’d imagine you’d get better responses. I’m not sure what VB has to do with Lingo, unless I’m completely missing the point here.

Sorry, not much of a game coder at all, most of my stuff is in interfaces and applications. Have you checked any Director forums?

Chris, can you honestly say that you have done programming in both Lingo and VB6, and that you have compared these two?
@ Seb - Ok sorry im a bit p***ed that on my birthday i have another operation ok to the point I program in the language (Visual basic) as in password and username fields, MsgBoxes, so on.

Reason… You do not know me you live in germany i live in the UK it not like you come over to my house every single day to whatch what im doing if im coding or not you have not right to say things that you dont really are 100% sure is correct.

I can honestly say that i have had 3 years experience with VB6 but if you search google for lingo coding it tells you that its time consuming and for much effort is required to run a simple command. It cool for gamin development.
You changed the location, also how could you compare it with lingo if you havent used lingo?
So if i search google find abunch of rants about an software its directly not good? It might be hard and time consuming and it might also be [U]worth[/U] it. Everything is time consuming even getting up in the morning. Im sure if you search google about that you will find that it is much effort taken to do that, and its a big pain in the behind. But what would happen if you wouldnt get up?

my shoes are my “kicks”
