So I have a links bar at the top of my site, (home, vision, mission)
I also have 3 external SWFs that correspond to those links (home, vision, mission) each of these movies has a little build intro to it, until it rests on its final frame, then also has a little outro as well.
What I need to be able to do is when the page loads initially, the home movie loads by default, when I click vision, I need to tell flash to first let the home SWF play out, and play the outro, then the vision SWF needs to load and play the intro of that. The same is true for the mission.
The problem I am having, is I am thinking that I need to use some sort of variable, where flash knows what movie is currently loaded, that way it can know what one to un - build. does this make sense?
This would be really easy if it were only two different SWFs, but since its 3, the user could be coming from 3 different areas, so I need to know how to accomplish this. Would it be using variables?
or perhaps by swapping depths?
any help our a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
