Load individual .jpg from array

Man, I could use some help here. Yeah, I did search for the answer. No luck. Anyway here I am asking for help.
I am using the code from “Photo Gallery Using XML and Flash”. I would like to add a number of buttons linked to the individual .jpgs so the viewer can load the pic directly. The catch is I would also like to use the neat funtions of the code below(loader, fade effect, and captions). How do I call these neat functions for use in my individually loaded .jpgs?

Any ideas or thought will be appreciated.
