Does anyone know of a way to have Flash (AS 2.0) load a swf file based on a portion of that file’s name? My goal is to have a series of swf files loaded on our server with different advertising messages. A marketing person would then be able to go into the file admin portion of our back-end CMS and add 1_, 2_, 3_, 4_ to the four files we would like to have rotating at the time. I was thinking that this would be easier for them to keep track of, rather than renaming each file. It could get confusing.
Any other ideas would be helpful.
Basically, our home page will have a rotating animation with 4 screens. We will change out the swf files periodically, but the main swf on the home page will not change, we will just change the content being loaded.
