I’ve been working on this site: http://www.operationasterisk.org/1 and I can’t get the message board to work. It seems to work when I look at the .swf file by itself:
http://www.operationasterisk.org/1/messages.swf
I’m thinking that it has something to do with the way I’m loading the external movie:
this.onRelease = function(){
_root.main.loadMovie(“messages.swf”);
Should I try assigning the external movie to a new layer? I don’t know what to do. Or if anybody knows where to find a good tutorial on messageboards in flash 8 or loading external movies in flash 8 that would be great.
Thanks,
Max
