Ok I am working towards my first fully functional site, and I just about have the majority of it set up. All of the main content is not plugged in, but the general template is finished, as well as the intro page. Will you guys tell me if I am going about this the right way, and if I am how to accomplish it?
The main page is just a blank flash page with an externally launched .swf (intro). After the intro runs another external .swf page is launched in its place (main site). I imagine this is how everyone else does it, right? My problem now is that I want the main site to start loading while the intro is playing so the user does not have to wait for the intro to load and then the main site to load. Is this possible? If it is, how do I do it?
