loadMovie paradox

Does anyone know of or has heard of any situation where externally loaded jpegs do not show up in a browser???

For some strange reason, everyone else (but me) can see the jpegs I’ve posted on my site:

http://www.special8.com/test.html

I put 3 examples of the same jpeg on this page. 2 are loaded in a placeholders using loadMovie (_root.placeholder.loadMovie(“ka.jpg”); to be exact)…one in the main timeline, another nested in a movie clip. Then finally just to prove I wasnt losing my head, I imported a third instance right onto the stage.

The third jpeg is the only one I can view in any browser that I’ve tried. The other 2 simply dont appear, although others see all three.

What the hell is going on here???

I see all 3 jpegs. Runing Win XP Pro, IE 6.

Is it just on your machine?

Yeah I guess so. I never had any trouble viewing jpegs before I started with loadMovie. Got the latest Flash player (installed twice just to be sure) and MS 2K, AOL/IE 6 browser.

Could it be a bug???

Prehaps, i dont know, try searching the Macromedia site for Technical Issues.
