Logo critique

Hi guys,

I need some critique on this logo. The client call himself Ray Kay and he wanted only his name and/or his initials as a logo, so i’ve tried to make it stand out. But i’m very new at making logo’s so if you guys could have a look and tell me what you think?

i have to say i like his logo better. except the RAY KAY under the initials. it would have been better if left just initials.

your logo kind of made me feel motion sick. there’s a wierd unbalance to it.

his is definately classier.

I’m sorry, but i think it looks a little to much like the Calvin Klein logo, but i guess thats just my opinion

They both have a K in them…

However, as much as it doesn’t remind me of the CK logo, it does remind me very much of another logo, but I can’t think of the brand.

I still prefer his to yours but neither really stand out to me as particularly special. My advice? Keep on truckin’, but maybe go for a quirkier style. People remember weird.

the client’s would be dope if he used a handwritten ornate font (sorta like in my footer) for the R and K instead of that ****ty standard serif font.

I would like your logo better if you worked on the K, mainly, extending the top left bar of the k upwards a tad just so that its there, and not… not there… I don’t like the structure of the Y and R… but I do the graffiti so I’m picky when it comes to letter structure. Then again, logo’s are typography and so is graff, so give my thoughts some consideration
