I know this isn’t the exactly the right forum for this but I think if anyone is going to have an answer for it, people on kirupa reading this forum will.
I’m involved in a church that is one of many that are using (and want to use more) media to help enhance and make the worship service more beautiful.
We are using a program called MediaShout (v2.5) which basically allows for still images, videos (quite buggy here and there), and has a database for songs which allows a “presentation” to be easily made instead of having to type out every word or cut and paste. This app is made specifically for churches.
I don’t care if it’s made specifically for church or not…but a database ready to hold content to more easily assemble a presentation is what I’m looking for in addition to:
Support for
.swf, video (as many formats especially), still images, text over video, etc
MediaShout is decent...but it has issues with bringing in video files on burned DVD or cd's (like from Avid, etc)
I've heard rumors that Passion ([http://www.passionnow.org](http://www.passionnow.org/)) uses an app that is lightyears ahead of everything else. It supposedly runs only on a mac. Has anyone heard of this software or know where it can be purchased?
Any other software apps that fit these user needs?
PLEASE PLEASE...I've looked everywhere. Would really appreciate some ideas/feedback.
