Hey everyone.
I’m planning on getting a 15" MacBook Pro the end of this September. Right now it’s a toss between the one that’s 2.4ghz with a 256MB RAM video card and the 2.5ghz with a 512MB RAM video card. http://store.apple.com/us-hed/browse/home/shop_mac/family/macbook_pro?mco=MTI2NDg
So the 2.4 is $1799 and the 2.5 is $2299. Does the second really provide that much more performance? I do my heavy developing and designing on a desktop. On the laptop I plan just to write code, surf the web, and listen to music. I want something that will perform on the go. Which would you suggest? It seems to me that extra $500 is for the video card performance.
