Well I have had many questions about this kind of game in the past by some of my friends, if it was possible to create in flash. I thought about it a bit and wondered myself, and to my suprise it might be, but very difficult. I do have questions myself on it. Right now I have a couple things down but some other questions have poped up.
Things I have done -
- Direct link up to a server with a deck or set of cards to use
- Player setup to create own personals
- Chat
- The Ability to draw random cards (but i think i might change it due to some difficulties within the coding)
Things that are needed-
(most of it is really the set up for Flash, I am really uncertain on it as of now…)
- Connect to Player 2 (setup, load decks)
- Create a hand for your side (drawing the random cards)
- The cards on the field are clickable/draggable~~(d-only on own side)
- A side Step Process (player clicks tabs) to show what phase the player is in…
As you can tell, the things I need to get done will involve the heavy coding, which is why I am asking for help. I know Wizards has a MTG Online game but I dont have money to do anything, I’m poor, and I enjoy the game. So a bunch of my friends and I would like to play the game without money. If someone could point me to some articles to read on some of the things I need to do, I would appreciate it! Thanks very much to those who help, and if I can get it working, I’ll be sure to post it so people can play MTG Flash version.
