Look — iPhone-only isn’t the part that scares me, it’s “transcription across apps” at $129 without a super clear story on where the audio goes and how it’s stored. I’ve seen enough “helper” utilities turn into CouponFinder Plus for microphones.
Yeah the cross-app bit is the red flag, not the magsafe gimmick. if they can’t explain in one plain screen whether audio ever leaves the phone (and how to delete it), i’m treating it like a future “allow microphone access: always” regret.
Yeah, “works everywhere” usually means “we’re sitting in the background everywhere, ” which is fine until you try to turn it off and it’s buried in Settings. If they can’t show a dead-simple privacy screen with a big “delete all recordings” button, I’m out.
