Mail Form

Let start by saying I have been searching for the answer for this and not sure exactly where to look. I’m a newbie so forgive me if I put this in the wrong area.

Here’s my problem. I am creating a form for a client. An email response form. He wants the visitors to answer a few questions and the response be sent to him. He created the form in WORD and emailed it to me. I in turn copied it into Dreamweaver, tweeked it and added the properties. I added the action, method and a submit button. So when I loaded it up to his server it looks fine. You hit the submit button and my default email software opens. Is there a way that when the visitor hits “submit” that the form is just sent to the receiver’s email instead? Without their email software opening? It’s currently coded in HTML. Do I need to use something else like PHP or ASP? Not familiar at all with those two. But if someone could point me in the direction of a good tutor I would appreciate it. Again this is standard HTML, no Flash or anything fancy.

Again I may have put this in the wrong spot, a thousand pardons. But I really need an answer on this.

Thanks again
