Hi all,
I have a 44mb flash interactive CD that I put together for a client. They now want the project on their website. I’m worried that the project is just too big to put onto the web. Some options I am considering are below, and I am asking for this forums advice and other possibilities :
The file size mainly comes from the images, which are seen as various slide shows. I can optimize the images, making them smaller, to reduce the file size, but I don’t see this lowering the file size more then 50%. On that note, maybe I should just try it and see what happens.
As it is, I can’t really pre-load everything, because that means re-doing everything - the file never afforded being ported over to the web. The file really has to stay as one .swf.
Does anyone else have any options?
Maybe a solid tutorial on optimizing for web in photoshop would work.
