Manga? does any one else like it?

hey,

ive been reading manga for about a year and i have
inital D, love hina, and a cuple other but i can think of them oh yea the chobits series also pretty good.
i was just wonder ing if any one else likes it any what they like??

I own several Japanese doujinshi, though I can’t actually read them. :sure: Difficult to get hold of over here, so I have to go to eBay. :slight_smile:

naaaah… you can go find it :slight_smile: I just started reading the Ichi the Killer manga… it’s cool, the drawings are ok, it’s kinda freaky… but then again, so is the film! :puzzle: I’m building up the Akira manga collection as well - albeit slowly - they’re so pricey! :frowning:

I love Manga! I got Raijin Comics alot of anime show movies! Shounen jump is good too for Naruto! But where my heart truly lie is in Image Comics! I can still remember the defined drawing style of Jim Lee, the detailed inking of Danny Miki, and sexy drawing style of Micheal Turner the clean shadows of Scott Williams, the dark style of Todd McFarlane… :slight_smile:

And oh: “Kage bunshin no jutsu!” Hehehe

I suppose that technically speaking the other thread is anime (the animations), whereas this is manga (the comics), so I won’t bother merging the threads. :slight_smile:

Bidding for some more doujinshi from eBay atm actually. You can pick them up for about £8 - £10 each, depending on how popular they are. The really famous ones can cost a packet though. :sigh:

And I really have to start learning Kanjii / Katakana… :slight_smile:

im am totaly in love with inital D manga series its so cool!! but they are expensive for just 1 book its like ten bucks for 1.

i love mangas
esspecially the ROD’s(read or die, read or dream).
though i do wish my abillity to read japanease was better.

yea i agree wish cowboy DB anything sucks its just like the only thing you can get in america on tv lol.
