it’s not as good as drawn on paper, but still looks neat
Heh, looks nice
very cool… will there be a face to go with it?
Sexy as!
Have you tried cel shading it rather than using gradient fills? Get even more of a manga look that way…

dun really think so - unless i’ll draw it on paper
kit -> cel shading? WII?
cell shading is where you use blocks of colour to shade instead of gradients… it’s what is used in most cartooning and stuff, because it would take ages (and be almost impossible) to shade using gradients that looked natural as the char moves.
a well-known example is the simpsons… most of the colour is just flat, and darker/lighter patches are used to show the shadows and highlights

Yeah, what he said.
I’ll draw a quick eye during my lunch break and post it, to show the kind of thing I mean.
OK, now this is very quickly done, so excuse the shoddy workmanship, but this is kind of what I mean by cel shading. There’s no gradients there at all, just blocks of flat colour.
whoa, that’s pretty good!!
what did u use to draw that in?
Illustrator to draw, Photoshop to colour.
awesome!!
i wish i had the kind of money to buy that caliber of program
right now im stuck with paint lol
at least i finally saved up enuf for flash!! lol
I’ll go 4 the manga eye, no offence kutiara.
Um, that is manga style, isn’t it?
