Maps with text annotations on mouse over

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to create a capus map with stars indicating the computer facilities we have in our university. What I want is for the users to be able to mouse over any of these stars and get an annotation box that displays some details about that facility.

I will highly appreciate any help with that.

Try this Hover Captions Tutorial by Kirupa! I think this might be the answer you are looking for.

If you are just using html you could use the alt tag. But if you are using flash then go to the link ren suggested. Also there is a flash mx component that you can drag and drop to pull off that too.
