Im currently working on en horz… slider menu, the menu part is easy i got it, but now i need to do something… but i just dont know where to start… i’ll explain:
I have a movieclip that runs with an action so my menu slides left and right on mouse movement… that works perfectly…
but no i want to mask parts of this menu so it lookslike its goin under the part of this menu (see image)…

That is my goal…
but the thing is, this action script makes the movieclip come over every thing i put in it (masks, layer whatever) it just shows ontop of it… no i had a sugetion from a friend to put my masking *.gif in a action so it stays on top of the other action (the 1 with the sliding menu)
can anyone tel me ho i use action to say that part 1 always stays ontop…or say that it has to stay ontop of (slider instance)
