Ok, I’m trying to do a simple fade in using a mask, but, Flash is refusing to co-operate. What am I doing wrong?
that doesn’t work… flash doesn’t care what’s the mask’s alpha or color, it just takes the shape of the… shape… and mask the layer below based on that 
aw @#%^ it worked in Flash 5! And they call MX an improvement.
Ok, so how would I go about a fade with a multi colour picture and many coloured background?
change the alpha of the smiley face itself
how would I go about that?
create a motion tween…
