I’m a newbie to flash and I have a few questions. I’ve made a flash movie called “alltel” that begins with an animation which runs through in the beginning then stops and then there’s a menu with buttons that can go to separate movie clips on the timeline and buttons that go to separate flash movies. questions:

When I try going back to the alltel movie from another linked movie, how can I tell it to skip past the beginning animation (first 50 frames or so) and go straight to the menu?

I have 4 movie clips that are info boxes that can be closed and minimized. They are all on different frames and are different instances of the same movie clip. Problem is, when I try to change the information and text in one, it changes all the rest to look the same. I want to make them different- how do I do this? I’ve tried duplicating the movie clips and renaming them- it doesn’t seem to work.
