I’ve got a slight rant about media temple, let the story begin…
I ordered service Saturday morning around 11am EST got my order ID and on the confirmation page it stated I will receive and email in LESS than 24hours. The 24hours comes and goes without an email so I called them and left a message for sales to call me back (they were working Sunday) this is @ 10:30am EST, 4:30pm ETS comes and I still haven’t received an email or callback so I call back and leave another message, 10pm comes so I call back and leave another message. By this point I’m rather ticked off.
The operator tells me he is sending a high priority message to the sales dept. I’m usually up pretty late anyways so I was up until 2am EST (Monday morning now) no call before I go to bed and not really wanting to scream at someone while my finacee is sleeping in bed… Fast forward to this morning I have no email from MT and I still haven’t gotten a callback. At this point I starting to lose my temper… I kept my cool though, while I was on my way to the office this morning I called them back and explained that I was very upset and would like someone to call me back at least. Here it is over 48 hours after I have ordered my service and I haven’t gotten my email, I’ve left 4 messages over the last 2 days and NEVER once did I get a callback. I’m about a quarter of an inch away from telling MT to kiss off and find another host…
I wouldn’t have been ticked off had I gotten even so much as an email from them stating they were working on the issue or a callback saying that they were having an issue or AT LEAST SOMETHING but NOTHING AT ALL is just a little bit unprofessional and reguardless of how this comes out at this point management is getting a phone call and an email about this.
What should I do? What do you think about this?
