Hey, this probably doesn’t belong in this forum, but I’m sure a moderator will move to appropriate location.
I asked a question about popups a little while ago, and got no response, I don’t know if it was because no one knew, or because no one cared. I found the answer for the problem, so I decided to post it, cuz I can’t be the only one fed up with windows messenger pop ups.
Here is how to disable them in XP:
Go to “Control Panel”, click “Administrative Tools”, click “Services”, click “Messenger” from the list, click “Stop”, pick “Disabled” from the “Startup Type” drop down menu. Click “Apply” and “Ok” DONE!!!
