i heard it had to do something with the ladies wearing some metallic décor on their face/body.
it was a combo of metallic flaked make-up and “sweltering heat” whatever classifies as “sweltering” I don’t know…

Just admit it, you never read the article, you assumed that by “Miss Italy gets Ugly” that he was refering to one woman. . . .a common error, you don’t haev to hide it.
