I was wondering if all monitors with USB ports function as a USB hub where you have to plug a USB cable from monitor to the CPU, or if some manage to piggyback a video signal with USB data. I saw a post somewhere about the latter case and I was curious, because being able to use a monitor’s USB ports without plugging in that cable would help me solve a problem I’m dealing with right now.
