Monzo is pulling out of the US, freezing new sign-ups now and closing existing accounts by June, as it shifts focus to Europe after finally securing a full banking licence there.

@Ellen1979 that June account shutdown date is the part that matters, because cross-border customers can get stuck if recurring payments or direct debits are still pointed at a dying account.
