I’ve been following the tutorial “Creating a Simple Flash 8 Animation” and I got stuck pretty early, at page 2 and between points iv-vii:

My problem is that I don’t get that “#” sign to move smoothly as it says it’s suppose to do at point vii.
Also, my highlighted area is not black as in the picture above point vi and I don’t get that long “arrow” shape on picture above point vii…what am I doing wrong?
