I have a small problem and I hope anyone of you people know the answer.
Is it posssible in actionscript to see if the mouse pointer moves out from the movie?
Or trace the mouse coordinates when it is outside of the movie?

No I don’t believe it is.
You can use an invisible button or hitTest to create workarounds to check if your mouse is over the movie or not, but as for getting mouse coordinates outside of the movie, I don’t believe you can do that.
