and stuck it in the Forbidden thread because of the reference to swf decompiler:http://www.kirupa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=94251
Because the swf is not his/her own I don’t think its okay to use a decompiler on it.
If ya’ll feel the post is okay please feel free to add it back in to that thread. Oh, and I will send a pm to the_menace explaining why I removed his/her post.

Just wanted to let you know that I removed your post from the Question for Flash developers thread that mentions using a decompiler on the swf. Since the thread originator didn’t create the swf and doesn’t own it I don’t think it’s legal or right to decompile it and we here at Kirupa Forums don’t want to give the younger, more impressionable crowd the idea that its okay to use a decompiler to rip other’s work.
I’m sure that’s not what you intended and were just trying to give a helpful suggestion but I went ahead and removed it anyway.
