Movement in iso-example

hi there,

im new to this forum, but i hope somebody could give me an answer.

im going through the iso-tutorial here at kirupa.com, and i understood the first basic steps so far. now, i would like to add this nice, smooth animation (like the one in this example: http://www.kirupa.com/developer/isometric/basic_example.htm), instead of the field-to-field-hopping in my file (wich uses this method: http://www.kirupa.com/developer/isometric/simple_example.htm).

i tried to tween my character from point A to point B, wich works fine if you press the arrow-key only once. but pressing a key for every move is pretty uncool. so, is there a way to have a nice and smooth movement without switching to this class-based uber-as-scripting-guru method of example 2?

i hope somebody gets what i mean, and sorry for my bad english… :b:
