$$ I will PayPal $10 bucks to whoever solves this issue for me. Not much I know, but this is probably easy for someone experienced.
I’ve been working on this project for a couple weeks, and for awhile now I have had a couple of movie clips that scroll some text in the file. It has always worked fine.
Today, I started working on it, and I notice the clip has stopped playing when I preview/publish the file. So I go to Scene 1, and sure enough the clip is there. I look in the library and the clip is still there, and plays in the library preview. Yet, when you preview/publish the file the movie clip is not there (or not playing)! How can this be?
This relates to 3 separate clips actually, all which scroll text. I am at wits end trying to find out why they won’t play even though they are in the file, and I have to deliver this project today!
Below is a link to a .zip file with my project, if someone could take a look and figure out exactly why this clip is not playing, it would be a real help. The file is at:
http://www.pixelmech.com/flash/access-diagram.zip
The clips are:
Scene 1: “mainPageTickers” , the clip sticking out of the right side of the purple box on the layer “tickers”
The other two instances are clips within a movie clip called “monitorBox” (inside folder ‘Purple Box section’ in the library) the clips are singleStreamTicker2 and singleStreamTicker3. When you mouse over the purple box in scene1, the first part of the monitorBox clip plays and you should see those two scroll…but suddenly they don’t.
I have not changed anything in regard to these pieces in like a week, so why they are suddenly stopping is beyond me but I must be missing something obvious.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks
Tom
